Default king quad throttle problem?

i recently acquired a king quad 700. it came with a uni filter, yoshi pipe, and a dynojet power commander III already installed. ive been on a few trail rides and it runs smooth, starts up with no problem, and has tons of power. but i noticed that the throttle response has got a 1/2 second lag. when i just "jog" the throttle, like when im loading it in the truck or in the shed for storage, it doesnt rev up with every quick jolt of the throttle.(kinna hard to explain) im a first time atv owner so im not completely sure if its normal. i guess i just figured because its fuel injected, it would be ,at least, almost as responsive as a car.i could post a video on youtube and get the link if it helps explain my issue. ould this be a PC III tuning problem?any comments, negative or positive, would be greatly appreciated.

I used a Velocity Devices programmer on my 05 700 and didn't have any issues. I have not been a fan of the power commander programmers.

That is your decision, I know the velocity device programmer is not cheap but we could stand our KQ on the hindend with 29.5 outlaws

What year is your King Quad 700?

Could what you are experiencing...be belt slippage?

With the machine off...how much free play do you have with the throttle...before it gets firm?

theres no play in the throttle cables are all tight. as far as belt slip, im not too sure thats the problem, because even in NEUTRAL, revs dont sound smooth. if i give a smoother, slower push of the gas the motor revs up right from the beginning. in that case it sounds alright. but when i mash the throttle it sound really rough in the first 1/2- 1 second then it revs up. so long story short, in NEUTRAL, quick jogging of the throttle makes for really rough revs.it just sounds like its "farting" before it revs up.as far as it being in gear, loading it in the shed is not as easy as it could be. theres no inching it forward. because jogging the throttle is just too rough so it barely moves the bike.i just havent had this problem with my kawi bayou or my kfx that i previously owned.
