Default lt250s with lt250r lower A-Arms mod

The lt250r pivot spacer measures about 50mm needs to be ground down to 47.50mm

After grinding them down sand the grinding mark smooth as possible.

Default lt250s with lt250r lower A-Arms mod

Here's what I used to finish the mod.
this finished but had to add 2mm thick washers on each end.

Suzuki lt250s 1989 fender mods-250r-needed-add-2nm-washer.jpg when you buy washers look at the thickness of the washers some of the same washers are thicker then others from 1.50mm to 2mm.
I needed to add 2mm thick washers for my quad to make a snug fit in my frame.
The ARROWS in picture shows the 2mm washers I used they are just cheap washers I had lying around and some of them are thicker then others but where sold in the same box..

The micrometer I use I got it from Harbor Freight real cheap and it works great.
I also have 4 oil seals not shown in picture they slide over each end of the pivot spacer before you put the end caps on.

Excellent.

We just picked up a 1999 YZ125 today so that is keeping me busy for
a few days, but after that I'll be working on this. Thank you so much for the detailed information!!!

YOUR WELCOME.
Valder if you look at my A-Arm bolts and Pivots they are drilled and bolts have grease fittings on them.
I think someone had drilled these out an I can see some grinding marks on them.
I searched the Internet and don't see anything like this.
Have you ever seen these for lt250s or lt230s?

Haven't seen any grease fittings on the a arms. I was going to do it to mine, but forgot about when I sent them to get powder coated.

Look at my pics the a-arms are not drilled the pivot spacer that goes inside the bearing is drilled and the bolt is drilled half way down the center n drilled threw the side of bolt not sure how they kept the drill straight.

Are you worried that the bolts have been weakened too much for jumping?

Default 1989 lt250s Engine Rebuild with a King Quad Cylinder Head n Cam

Just got the Engine done I bought from j-mauld,I bought a used a Cylinder Head n matching cam from 300 King Quad.
Yes Randy the 300 king quad cam is real mild i'm going to run it for a while then pull the 300 cam out and go with a 230 cam and see how much the power changes.
