#1
Ok i got this beater 91 lt230e. i got it for dirt cheap ands its a fixer upper. It starts and runs. . Well kinda.. anyway i have started rippin it apart and fixin it slower but surely. I have noticed that the (thumb)Throttle is a little off. when i compress it it slides normally but it dosent retract.. i opened up the thrumb throttle case and noticed the throttle return spring ( i think that is what its called) is a little rusty and not as springy as a spring should =P should i get a new throttle cable, and a new spring. . . Also can anyone help me find one of the springs online i was looking high and low all over the internet and couldnt find Anything that even resembles the spring i have please any help would be greatly appreciated thanx all

Check the hole that the thumb piece goes into the body. Sometimes they are wore out and cause that problem.
Sometimes it's how the cable is routed or if it's been damaged.
IMO: The carb spring is what actually returns the throttle to idle.
