Default Carb problem 1992 quad racer

I have a 1992 suzuki quadracer that I've had for awhile ran decent then all the sudden doesn't run. The coil is still reading well I believe it is the carb please help!!

First check if it is sparking, if it is, clean the carb out. There are loads of how to instructions on the net for all makes and models of carb.

PS. This should be in the Suzuki section.

First off the coil is reading the correct ohms second off suzuki is a Chinese engine.. And what's the websites for the instructions?

Don't read the coil.... see if its sparking. Suzuki lt250r is a Japanese motor.

moved.. pretty sure the 1992 250cc Suzuki was made in Japan..

Ground the plug wire and plug to the cylinder or head and crank the engine over and see if sparks.

Just have the plug in the plug cap,lay the plug on/against the cylinder or head and crank the engine over.If you have a good spark then that usually rules out an electrical problem. Plus if in doubt about the old spark plug,test with a new one. Could just be fouled plug problem.

I went to take the plastic plug off the top to expose the coil and the coil that goes in top of the spark plug broke clear off.. That was most likely my problem
