The Insurance not does not go have a pow wow with your car dealership over the issue.
I have insurance on everything since you can't ride on our trails without insurance and not once did my Insurance company ask where I bough it.
Even if they did, I only buy used and for all I know the previous owner changed address or cities.
I just threw out a plan B for the guy before he's out 8 grand if all else fails. I should of not brought it up LOL

Funny... I switch from Honda to Suzuki in the early 2000s because if this type of thing. I had such bad luck with Hondas, I moved to Suzuki and after 2 quads and 3 motorcycles, all suzukis have been perfect and I recommend them to everyone!
I'd be interested to hear how this is resolved. Assuming no details left out, this would clearly be a mechanical issue related to initial build unless you modified it or something. If suzuki doesn't step in and get this resolved quickly, your lawyer should have no problem with it... Be sure to let us know the results!

Since its been almost 3 months since the original poster said anything, Its probably safe to assume Suzuki has done nothing about it. That's the one thing I worry about if I were to buy a new machine. You have a lot more to lose than if you buy a used machine for $1500. Makes me want to just keep riding my Rancher literally until the wheels fall off.
