Default help 93 lt230 wont start..

Where to start.. .my names tyler and im new to atv and this forum. I just aquired a 93 lt230 not running. I rebuilt carb hoping thats it but no. He said he was riding it and it shut off. So he parked it for 8 months. Ive opened head and checked cam timing and lines up at tdc.. valves are gaped right. Has spark and compression.. the wireing is messed up bad. (Eg. All cut up) and am trying to start with cables to hot on starter and ground. I dont know if i have to jump through wireing because of maby a neutral relay or reverse sensor.. any help is appreciated!

Spray some starter fluid in Air Box put it in Third Gear And hold the Shifter up with your Foot while your Buddy tows you with a Quad or even a Rider mower when you pick up some Speed take your foot off the Shifter that will start the Engine spinning, this is how I jump start my 1989 lt230e Quadrunner. Once you get it running well it should start easier with the Pull start.Let me know how you make out.
