Hey Everyone,
I recently bought a used 2008 King Quad 750. I have been doing a bit of maintenance on the machine really looking it over to make sure everything is in check. I was driving the other day and heard a slapping noise that sounded like the fan had a twig in it. After looking a little harder I noticed the noise was actually two unplugged wire connectors hitting the fan. My question is what are these wires for? You can see them at the bottom of the picture. Thanks in advance.

The other thing is it seems to have a slight hesitation when I first take off from a stop. I checked the air filter, TPS sensor, spark plug, engine oil.. any other ideas??

 

I cant seem to figure out how to load the picture, Nut if you lift the rad cap plastic cover. One wire is green and one is orange, Both have the same black ca9

 

We don't maintain any 750s but work on lots of 450s and a couple of 500s and 700s. The usual cause of the hesitation is dirt in the top of the injector. This can be removed by carefully poking it out from the non removable filter screen with a tiny screwdriver followed by blowing with compressed air. The extra wires could be for the power steering option, the control box is under there on EPS models.

 

Just happened to have a 700 in for an electrical fault (broken wire on the pull out kill switch that Suzuki still fit). I took a look at the area round the radiator and a green and an orange wire go to a brown plug which fits onto a sender unit in the top of the radiator. Can't be for fuel injection as the FI temp sender is on the cylinder block, so it either makes the fan come on or the temp warning light, maybe both.
