Default Suzuki lt185 pickup coil

Is it possible to retrofit a late 90s model pickup coil onto an lt185? Mine is broken and the only reasonable priced ones are the newer ones.

Im in the process of retrofitting a gm ignition module and coil on the quad and I need to use this pickup to make the spark go off at the right time.

That's similar to the ones I'm looking at, the original is a one wire coil with the ground going through the engine, that looks like it runs the ground wire out like I need it to be. I'm going to do a little more research before I pull the trigger
