Default Suzuki lt230

I have a 1987 Suzuki lt230 I picked up. It's not getting oil to top of head. Cam is nearly wiped out, rockers are shot. Still runs, the jug is bored out .20 over. But has a stock piston. Jug reads 66.50 but has a 65.96 piston. How does oil get to the top?? New to ATVs. Used to Chevy's. It's obviously not getting oil because I can hear the cam scream with lack of oil. I took off a cap and dumped oil in and it shut up, then it'll start again.

I had the same problem on a newish 400 King Quad recently. The oil supply to the cam was labyrinthine to say the least. Out of crankcase casting into clutch cover, up channel in cover and back into a crankcase drilling to rear head stud, up side of stud through cylinder and head casting, through passage to middle cam bearing and up rocker cover stud to inlet rocker shaft and out onto inlet rocker. Exhaust shaft and follower was oiled by splash. Fairly sure it was a bit of Silicone gasket that had got into a passageway. Blew the whole lot out with an airline and oil started to circulate.

Does anybody know the correct way for the copper washers to go on the head? Would be greatly appreciated

Edit..after searching on the forum I found that the 2 copper ones go inside next to the timing chain and the 2 steel ones go on the outside. Is this correct
