Time to work on why the fan wont kick on when warm. No power to the fan when hot but fan works if i hook it up directly.

is there a write up on how to replace the oil pressure relief? I have a 2005 Vinson ltf500f it smokes just like yours in the video and even drips oil out of the tailpipe and has good compression. I can’t seem to find anything on how to replace this part. I am new to working on atvs and just curious what all I am getting into.

See if you can find a plug in an oil gallery where you can screw a gauge in, so you can test oil pressure, before assuming it is the relief valve at fault. I don't know where the valve is on the Vinson.

Since this thread is a couple years old and my memory isnt the best im going to agree with merryman. I tested pressure 1st then did the swap.

No steb by step but its part # 16 VALVE ASSY, OIL RELIEF

And its in the crank case. Not a easy job but it can be done.

Sorry for the delayed response. Right about the time I posted on here I blew my Jeep up and have been busy replacing the engine. Now that that is out of the way it’s back to the Vinson. Finding information on this seems to be extremely scarce. Before I tear into it I would like to have some sort of game plan. So do I have to split the case or is it under the cover? I had tested oil pressure and was very high and is what led me to this thread.
