Default LT 80 will not start why

hi to all

I'm working on a 05 lt80 quadsport

my problem is getting it started. i have purchased a battery its fully charged.
ive have checked all fuses and wires. and the overload switch on the right rear
i have made sure that the break is set. the key is on the orange/red switch is on run
when i try to start the 4 wheeler i get nothing. no bussing no trying to crank.

i have traced all wires and have found nothing wrong.
any ideas would be great

The LT80 has a simple wiring system, if you are not getting a click from the solenoid, it may be bad, however it could be a bad start button, ignition switch or switch on the brake lever. Not sure if this is right for your year, but the orange wire to solenoid should be live with ignition on, and the white/black is negative when the brake is on, kill switch on run, and start button pressed.

I'm thinking it's the start button. They have gone bad before.

Does it have the pull start attached? If not it's a very handy upgrade for such things...
