Warped aluminum rims
#1
I just had some blackwater xt's put on mu lt 500. Now I have a little wobble in my front right tire. I noticed the technician using an impact gun to install the rims. I have heard that aluminum car rims have been damaged by impact guns. Could this be my problem? The tires were put on my stock suzuki rims.

I don't think your problem is bent rims. I had the same thing when I took my stock tires off and installed XT's. I took everything off and brought my wheels into the tool shop I work at. I checked the wheels on a large surface plate with a dial indicator, they weren't warped. The stock wheels are cast aluminium, which is difficult to twist or warp unless they are heated. They will flex, but spring back into shape. My problem was there was a rubbery substance around the stock wheels that the guy installing the tires didn't clean off. I took all the tires off again and cleaned the wheels. Re-mounted the tires and rode again. Still a little bit of wobble. You also have to make sure the air pressure is exactly the same in all tires. After I checked that, everything works ok. Still a little wobble when I run wide open in high gear, but I rarely do that. Hope this helps..good luck.
