Default LT80 starting problems

I have an 1990-ish LT80 which turns over slowly and won't start unless it's jumped from my car. Once jumped it runs perfectly.

After reading posts here I tried taking the spark plug out and it turns over normally, but if you put it back in it turns over slowly again.

Anyone any idea where the problem lies? Is it starter issues?

Thanks in advance for any help, plenty of experience with cars and mechanics, but new to quads.

Welcome to the forums.
I feel the starter may be bad providing that your battery is fully charged. It's sorta weird that the jump helps.
A stock Suzuki starter can roll over a jet engine.

It's probably on it's way out and drawing too many amps for the stock battery...a larger battery would most likely have more CCA (cold cranking amps)...or the stock battery is on it's way out...taking a charge is no the same as an amp test...
