Default 2002 LT50 2 stroke CDI/Coil? Help Please

I am new here just got a 2002 LT50 for the grandson. Looking for a little help.
I am trying to get it going but will not run.
Checks I have done
Compression good
Fuel good ( Even with starting fluid)
Spark has spark but looks weak to me but I am not used to looking at 4 wheeler spark.
Stator AC voltage around 50 volts when I pull the rope not real fast just a steady solid pull.
New Plug

I know the CDI is combined withy the coil. I was told replace the Coil/CDI and that would solve it but just want to get some other opinions before I sink $130 into it for a not sure.

I bought one of the cheapies off ebay for $12 and of course it did not work I should have known better. To good to be true. Anyone else had any luck with these?

Anyway I would appreciate any feedback. I searched here but most that replace the CDI have no spark. I have spark but does not seem strong to me but this maybe the way they are.

Thanks in advance for feedback!!

One other thing I did was check the kill switches. Handlebar one is fine. The pull string one on back was taped up in a big ball so I disconnected and it still had spark so I left it at that. I did try and jumper the two wires thinking that would bypass the switch but that killed the spark. So I figure it must be a normally open contact.
Thanks

The one in right is the eBay one. Left is the original.

Did you buy the quad non/running? What was compression reading? Does the plug look like fuel is getting to it? These are known for bad crank seals.

The spark doesn't look very bright on an LT50 but seems almost continuous when you pull with the plug out, like a model T Ford trembler. My guess is you have other problems.

Bought not running but was a buddy and was running about 6 months ago. Plug doesn't really show much gas but it won't fire off even with starting fluid.

About 55 psi compression

55psi is low...you want 90 or better...time for a top-end refresh...

Yes top end is definitely where the problem is at.

Well. That stinks. Guess I need to pull the head and see what's up. Is that the first step
