The best thing that you can do, when you change your oil, send a sample to Blackstone Labs. If you have gas in the oil, I'd first check the float height in the carb. If you have a fuel shut off, shut off the gas when you trailer it. Here is what a report looks like. My old Arctic Cat 500 , same motor as yours, btw. I sold it, it now has over 9,000 miles. Switched to Shell Rotella T6, you can see the improvement over Mobil one and the first test was conventional, non synthetic.

Also merryman says he has had a dealer mechanic put 4 qts of oil in his and it showed high and he pumped some of it back out... mine was over filled as well and i only put back to the top of the dip stick hash marks but i've noticed a bubbling or slight boiling sound coming from the case after running the bike a little bit... so im wondering if the eiger should have 4 qts of oil which will put the level way over the hash marks? Anyone know for sure?

The Eiger doesn't have an overflow for the float chamber. Like LT80 wrote, if the float needle sticks, fuel floods the sump and airbox if the tap has been left on prime. The oil needs changing, airbox emptying and make sure the tap is on RUN.
