Just got an ltz about a month ago. Started fine for the first 3 weeks then after riding it, it wouldn't start the next day. I had my petcock on "ON" when it was sitting for a day. Just cleaned the carb, got a new battery and turns over fine. Has spark. I can hear the quad almost start but then the battery dies (the battery is the right battery) if anyone knows what's going on please let me know and also it's not the petcock.

Check valve clearances, fit a new plug and, if it still won't start, clean the carb out again, you have probably still got dirt in it.

 

I put a new spark plug in and a new battery but it still won't start. Seems like it's starving for gas. Bringing it to the shop today to see what the mechanic says and then I'll let you know what it is.
