Default engine dieing

yesterday i was getting firewood with my suzuki king quad 300.i pull a small
trailer with wood in it,couple of hills i have to climb to get home loaded
anyways while going up the hill loaded, motor started to die,had this happen before,i put the choke all the way on,it straighten right out, choke closed all the way.last month i put a new honda fuel pump on,saw it on face book 10.00
compaired to 90.00.do you think the honda pump just can,t handle it? pump was from a honda rider.

Have you cleaned the carb? I'd start there.

IMO, providing the new pump is working, the choke thing tells me that a jet may be clogged.
hopefully a 4 stroke guy can help more.

Any chance there is an inline fuel filter that is partially plugged? Check the gas tank vent for being plugged, jets are not partially plugged and float height is set correctly. Also, a new spark plug can't hurt.
