10-4. I was thinking the valves and seats were delicate on this bike because I read that you couldn't lap the valves.

Well my parts won't be here until Tuesday or Wednesday. So I'll have some time to get everything cleaned up and ready for assembly next week.

Do you think I should oil the rollers in the primary clutch?

What is the best was to loosen up the drive clutch shoe from the pivot point? When the springs are removed it is hard to move them.

No oil/grease on rollers.
Shoes: sometimes hard to get off when seized like that. Wiggle them off and lubricate.
With the .5 pound feet of torque that puts out..prolly hasn't been flexxed much.

so Partzilla is telling me Suzuki might have discontinued the CVT case. This is the one the drive shaft gear rides in.

What is your thought about me running it with the buggered up journal hole in my current cvt case since I might not have a new case soon or ever?

I'd call a Suzuki dealer first.
CASE, CVT
11340-22G50
$86.56
2007 Suzuki QuadSport (LT-Z50) CVT CASE | Babbitts Suzuki Partshouse

i spoke to a manager at partzilla Friday. They spoke to Suzuki on my behalf and said the part was back ordered from Suzuki. I'll call Babbitt tomorrow and see though.

If if I cannot get it by this weekend do you think it would be ok to put it all back together with the cvt case being like it's is and let my 3 and 6 yr old run it for the weekend without causing excessive damage.

Never know but I think it'll be OK. Let em have some fun.
I googled Suzuki parts. Babbit was the first. That's why I looked there.
I'd call a real Suzuki dealer.

They split my shipment up and the shipment that cane tonight had piston, rings, gaskets, etc. it didn't have the piston pin or circlips...they will be here tomorrow in the second shipment. I guess I won't be putting the engine together tonight.

How do I bypass the safety pull teather on the back? This one is missing the plunger so I borrowed the one from a Kawasaki to diagnose.
