Default 93 king quad need help badly plz !

My 93 kq 300

It takes forever to start I have to hold the throttle mid to wide open and it chugs then starts
.sometimes the plug is wet with fuel sometimes its not

I've cleaned the carb 3 times with a wire poking through all holes

I've checked spark its a bright color blue ish

I've checked for air leaked and tightend everything

Its always been hard to start but now its gotten so bad

I have to hold the button and push throttle over and over and it will chug chug and eventually fire up

Now when its started it runs amazing no bogging backfire nothing like that ..

While running if I shut it off and press start it fires right up

But if while running I shut it off and let it sit longer then 5 mins it goes right back to hard starting

I forgot to mention I have checked choke cable and it is working properly

Check compression, low compression can give poor cold starting. This can be caused by valve clearances being too tight, so check them. Other possibility is a little fuel getting past the float needle, not sure how the 93 models work, but most Suzukis stop fuel flow to the carb when the engine stops, but if fuel in the pipe gets past the float needle, it gives a very rich mixture, and will only start with a wide open throttle.
