Like I said, maybe I'm over thinking this but, all the heat created is bring dissipated by the heat sink which is outside the lense and under the two boots. The inner now has a hole in it but, with the outer boot totally sealed, it seems as though the fan will starve for cooler air. Ah, what do I know? Maybe I'll ponder this in much greater detail over a few beers later. On another note....HOLY ****, ARE THEY BRIGHT!!!!!

but the 2nd boot doesn't seal anything, only protects from anything thrown up by the front tires. It is completely open around the headlight housing so there is a ton of airflow around the light itself from the front side without opening up a hole in the rubber cup on the back.

The autofocus on my phone doesn't really do it justice as to how much it really lights up the area but i took this the night i put mine in. Low beam, high beam, then my 20" light bar.

Aahhh, Brain fart! How did I miss the channel between the two cup flanges!?
All good now. What a great upgrade! Now its time to get serious about ordering the new rims.

When you pick some up throw up a picture, i don't plan on making any wheel/tire purchases until i get some wear and tear out of the stockers but would love to see how these look with an upgrade.

Will do. Yeah, I'm just going for the rims for now. I've seen them on a Honda and they really lit it up. They'll look even better on the KQ 400 Camo! I'll beat up the stock Maxxis for a year or so before I replace them. Probably won't be for a few weeks on the rims though. I really need to concentrate on shopping a new truck first. And, as if that wasn't enough, I'm in the middle of getting estimates to expand the driveway.

Looks good. Now it just needs some larger tires to fill out the stance.

Nope. I may go for better tires in a year or so, but not a rise in the center of gravity at all. Not even an inch. That's half the reason I chose this machine over something bigger. The goat trails where I hunt get pretty vertical along with some steep cambers. I want it as low as possible. If anything, maybe some spacers to widen the stance.

I agree to a point, i was on a trip a few weeks back and made some pretty steep rocky climbs out in the mountings. Never once felt any kind of tippy but did notice a time or 2 the solid rear axle did hamper my clearance vs my wifes 01 sportsman 500 that is spec'd at around 2 more inches of clearance than my king quad. I would like to bump up to at most 27's just to gain a little more room underneath while keeping the suspension stock.
