It usually runs better, I had the intake elbow off. Belt is a Gates G-Force 69G2919. Can you explain in more detail the washer issue...front clutch? I have the cupped washer under the nut, no washer in by the sleeve.

should the rear clutch ping and chatter at an idle like that?

thanks

It looks like you have: nut, then spring washer, then a big washer, then fixed face. Correct?
Ya, they ping.

Yes, you are correct, the big washer is on the outside. Ordered all the rebuild parts from Partzilla, but the washer is much larger than the inner sleeve. It doesn’t seem to fit properly, seems it would tear up the belt having an extra ridge in there. I noticed that Partzilla lists different part numbers of sleeves, washers, etc. for different models...what’s the difference and how do I determine which I need? Looks like they have different letter prefixes?

Also, does that Gates belt check out ok?

I will go to the garage and measure each bushing.
I also will measure the belt width. It's prolly just the video but yours seems wide.
I'm sure the washer needs to be on the inside of the fixed face. Bazzinga..

Partzilla lists the sizes, I’m assuming in mm of the bushings/sleeves. I’m just not sure which I should use? This clutch was a mess when I got it with parts missing and others welded(rear moveable face plate)

That to me looks and sound like a fuel issue, by lifting up the back end you moving the fuel around in the bowl. Why not remove the bet to the rear and eliminate it all together to confirm if you havent already.
Strongly feel its a fuel issue but i have been wrong b4. Maybe float is incorrectly set i did you get the email i sent you ? unfortunately i dont know much about that one but i will browse through the manual and see if something clicks

Ok, the bushing you have will be 1.27 long (inches not mm)
The long bushing is 1.39 and usually is a special order. When ordering, all the old parts were "updated" to the new parts which these clutch parts were one of the few things they changed. ie: using a bushing and washer instead of a long bushing only.
I measured the newest (but not new) belt I have. 1.700 wide.
Measurements are +/- as my $20 calipers were cold...

Sweet! Looks like we are on the right track. I will check my bushing tomorrow and measure the belt. I still have the one that came on it and I will compare that as well.

thanks again for all the help. I will update once I try your suggestions.

Belts wear forever and only get better. Well, to a point that is. When we raced, I never used a new belt.
