Default 99 lt80

Hay guys and gals .....
i have been busting my head with this Suzuki quadsport......
At first I couldn't get it to start figured it was a compression issue I have replaced bottom head,piston,rings,carb,petcock,fuel/vac lines,
Finally I have gotten it to start up and took it for a spin, now when I give it gas it losses power and dies out I then have to pull start it again it will start up and I have to throttle a bit to keep it on if I let off the throttle it dies out .... Not sure what to look for at this point any ideas

Do you know your compression number? Did you get a cheapo ebay carb? When's the last time you serviced the clutches?

Yes a recoil ....
yes an eBay carb from some China company
as for the clutch I haven't dug into that yet it I was mainly trying to get it started at first, which I was able to do ..... Via recoil ( pull starter )

it won't kick over with the start button. It just cranks and cranks some times sounding like its cranking then stops and sounds like a loose chain spinning and recatching and cranks again but no start... Battery at 12.34v

Jack (LT80) will tell you the ebay cheapo carbs can cause issues...still need a compression number...new top end or not...

Ebay carbs:: They were a great thing for a while but as of late, there are carbs sold as a LT80 carb. It may fit but it is not a LT80 carb. They have a air mix screw which a LT80 carb does not.
If you look, the junk carbs have a choke **** with notches. I ordered another carb with a perfect smooth choke button and it was a better carb.
So as for now, look for the smooth choke button.
