Default Lrd big bore lt80

Hey I just recently picked up a Lrd bigbore lt80 with Lrd exhaust, dg20mm carb kit and a bunch of other goodies. I need to get in touch with jack Moore (lt80) about rebuilding this setup for my son. Does anybody know if he is still doing engine work for these quads?

No problem, I got a hold of Arlan finally. He said he would not be Interestred in rebuilding the top end. He did verify that there should be a o ring at the top of the sleeve. Not a copper gasket, I'm assuming I am looking the compression through there. So at this point I am gonna leave that alone and would like to have you work the factory jug and head, as well as the clutch.

Hey Jack, I pulled my son's lt80 apart. Removed crank, the flywheel side bearing was stuck on there. Took it to work today and found out that the bearing essentially welded itself to the crank. As I pressed it off, it cut nasty grooves in the sealing surface of the crank. Is there any options besides the 211.00 dollar factory part? Hotrods and Wiseco only have the rod. I was trying to get this done for him by Christmas, but this throws a wrench in the works. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I'm pretty sure this sealing surface is done. I have the factory jug, head, intake I would like to send to you for machining and port work. The crank seal was destroyed from dirt. That then leaned it out, fusing the crank bearing to the crank. The piston left a streak of aluminum on the cylinder as well. So after the holidays, when you have some time. Schedule me in for some work.
