Lt80 clutch

Default Lt80 clutch

My kids lt80 keeps destroying primary clutches i rebild them and they ride it for like 10 min and the clutch is really hot. The rollers get flat sides and plastic on them is melted any one else have this problem or know how ro fix it

How's the rear clutch? Pads ok? Bearings ok?

The rear one is good should the belt ride ontop of the washer that is between the spacer and the fixed face

It all was hot even the cover was warm i never touched the rear clutch but had to use gloves to take front one off

This is why I'm asking about the rear clutch. That's usually where excessive heat is made.
Have you taken the rear clutch off and squeezed the sheaves to see if the sliding face is sliding properly?

Yes it seems to be i will dive into it tomarro to make sure when i put the front one together i run it with the cover of and it all looked hood
