Exclamation 2008 king quad throttle issue

Is this a common occurrence, my throttle sticks when I first start it then after running for a few minutes it starts to loosen up. I just replaced the cable with a new one and it does the same. When I had the cable off the carb or, throttle body, the cable was free, no snags. Where should I check next. Thanks.

I have had this on 400KQs the butterfly shaft in the throttle body can be tight. I took it out, cleaned and oiled it. Put it back and it never did it again. Not for the feint heart this fix, as the butterfly isn't really supposed to be removed. Take the plastic cover off the side of the carb/throttle body and see if the lever inside is returning smartly back to it's stop, and if the cable is slack, when the fault is on. I have also had the throttle lever shaft on the handle bars stick on Hondas, usually as a result of riding in salt water.
