just picked it up and my previous 2004 did not have power steering,
when i ride this at speed the steering is very touchy, i would expect it to decrease with more speed and increase with less speed,
like power assist. low speed 5-10mps is ok, anything above that and it wants to steer off left of right
it is very touchy
Any ideas? i suspect the eps control module

 

probably gonna just try and pull the fuse and see. previous owner said same thing always felt squirrelly. so not sure its "broken" but a learning curve coming from no power steering to full ps

 

Non power steering versions were prone to this as well. A lot depends on tyres, different makes and widths alter the steering quite a bit on them. I would also check tracking on it.
