No spark for Suzuki lt80

Default No spark for Suzuki lt80

My Suzuki lt80 had sat for about 3 or 5 mouths and a couple of weeks ago I tried to get it goin again and now it has no spark I don’t know what happen the cdi looks fine hasn’t been water damaged and there’s a new spark plug in it so if any one knows what’s wrong with it please tell me

Check kill switches, if it has a "sink plug" type, they can get loose. Suzuki ignition switches can be problematic too. Again it would be the kill side of the switch faulty, as the positive part is feeding power to the start button. They are fairly simple electrically, I can't find the wiring diagram, but wire(s) from magneto to CDI, from CDI to coil, plus an earth on CDI, is about all there is to it. I think even the kill wires just short either the magneto wire or the one to the coil, to earth.
