I am in the middle of rebuilding an "89 Zilla. I have a couple quesitons. The first is what do you guys who have Zillas recommend when it comes to pipes and tips? The second is which cool head and dome size would you recommend. I don't want to have to run race gas. I need a new head so I figured I may as well buy the best now, instead of having to buy a cool head later.

as for pipes most of the zillas i see have the fmf gold series. I am running that pipe. Depending on where u ride remove the air box lid and jet to the correct size. See the link below for my zilla and other bikes we have. also email me if u have any more questions on this bike

 

I also run the FMF gold on my woods Zilla, because of the fit and the spark aresstor, I also recommend the paul turner, and ct pipes, but they are a bit louder. As for the cool head Pro Design has 2 different one's and they will ask you If you run race gas or not. I run the race Gas dome and I love it, yes c-12 is 3 times the price, but it is leaded and this is great for lubrication, and it smells so lovley.
