i was just wondering the top speeds of these quads

lt125
lt160 1980s version
lt230 quadrunner
lt230 quadsport

 

I dunno how fast the 125 but it would flat outrun my bros 1992 160. I say 45-48

125-(45-48)
160-(42-45)
230qr-
230qs-(52-54)

I have never rode an auto manual clutch 230 Zuki but have always heard they are faster.

 

Does anyone happen to know the stock speed of a 91-92 Lt 250 quadracer?

 

Probably in the high 60's. I don't think it will break 70. Maybe.

they can break 70 i think... i've always heard at 70 miles an hour stock from the newer QR's. i know mine went over 70 all the only real permance mod i had was a silencer.

 

Yeah, mine was just a guess. My friend had an LT250 at one time, and the Banshee's were always a little bit faster on top end. The Banshee's go about 72mph, so I figured high 60's for the Quad Racer. We never clocked it though. Also, there are a lot of variables to consider...the main question...was his running 100%? Since you owned one, I think you'd have a better guess than me.

well i can tell you mine wasn't running anywhere near 100 percent... i would say 80 percent

 

how fast is a lt185 (1985)

 

I raced one of those and it was slightly faster than a bayou 220 and a little slower than a Honda 200sx so I would say 48-50

 

Well, my LT230E (Quadrunner) with 13front sprocket goes as fast as a Blaster(with someone on the Blaster who weighs only half of me....) so I figure it would go a little faster than a Blaster with equally heavy guys on them........
