Slinger; when I went up to Forest Hill with my Warrior, we were able to get to LA. Dunes from Forest Hill. The drawback was $25 for each quad & we were about 7 ($175). We went back to Forest Hill where it's free and you can get lost with all those trails. Great place to ride, but since I bought my Gixxer!!!!the Raptor is just sitting around.

LT5001987, I have 22" Holeshots on the rear. I don't think there is any problem with mine pulling 5th with the bore and the FMF. I'm really a little dubious about the 15 front. It BARELY clears the swing-arm. I would just like to touch triple digits just for a second. I don't think Holeshots will be up to the task, do you? The speedo I have is calibrated pretty accurately; it keeps top speed, avg. speed, odo., the whole nine yards. I have, however, heard of some ridiculous speeds registered by gps from people in these forums. I don't know which kind they had, though. I'd like to get one for my wheelers that don't have speedos. It's funny to me that my Prairie 4x4 has a speedo and my "fast" bikes don't.

Hey Maxima, so those are pretty cool trails down there? Good fast 4-wheeler stuff? We might have to make a trip down there before summer's up. Do you think that LA. Dunes is worth the dough or not? You seemed unimpressed with them. I can't believe you ain't rippin' on that Raptor. I've seen one race on a tight mx track up here in Minden. In both motos he was the fastest wheeler there but he kept losing it. I don't think he had raced before. In the second moto he tangled up with a 400EX on a double and flipped off the course. I've never seen a 4-wheeler cut that many flips, but they were both alright. One busted rear shock and that was it.

read my signature, i had radials on the front and brand new wheel and a-arm bearings , it didn't handle all that bad. I wouldn't atempt it with a machine with a "loose" front end though. That was with cut fenders, i had regular maier plastics but the bottom mounts were missing, at top speed they would fold straight up and hit the bars!!
