LT250R TOP SPEED?
#3
I have mild porting a pipe and a PWK 35 Airstryker, with a 13 tooth front sproket as oppossed to the stock 12 tooth, and I walk away from my friends 400EX, no rev limiter. He has one of the speed computers and it said he was doing 62. I know the 400's are suppossed to go faster than that but his is heavily modified, we raced for about a 1/2 mile paved road. so I would say mine was going upper 60's

how relevant is 1/4 mile times on machines that reach top speed in about 500 ft?
top speed of a machine depends on the means of accleration and total resistance to it...
throw a quadracer out of the back of an aircraft at 10000 ft and it will reach a maximim velocity in the range of 250-300 mph in only a few seconds.
strap that quadracer to a J.A.T.O. engine(jet assisted take off) and it'll reach a speed in the range of 600-700 MPH in only a split second.
put it in the cargo bay of the space shuttle and it will reach 17,000 mph while in orbit.
try these if you'd like, but i don't recommend any of them. severe damage to your quad may result.
