Its too bad for suzuki that they can make a bike that is a two stroke and has 150 more ccs than a banshee and with aftermarkets the banshee can do the same speed as the quadzilla.This happened at pikes peak, listed at speedvision.com.

BIG FAT HAIRY DEAL! So someone somewhere built a Banshee faster than a quadzilla. I guarantee someone somewhere has built a quadzilla that is faster than that Banshee so what is your point? A stock quadzilla will ABSOLUTLY BLOW AWAY a stock Banshee. If you take a Zilla and a Banshee and to the same mods to them the Zilla is still way faster, plus you actually have low end power instead of useless peaky power. So a Banshee won pikes peak so that must prove that a Banshee is the most wonderfull machine ever made and we should all sell what we own and run out and buy one is that what you are saying? If there is a point to your origional post please let us know.

 

A stock zilla was supposed to run in the mid 70s to 80s range from what i hear from an owner and a banshee probably goes 72. now if u bore a banshee out to 500 cc and thats all u do for aftermarkets i gurantee that the banshee will win.

 

From personal experience, a Banshee and Quadzilla that are moded the same, that being pipes, reeds, filter, the usual stuff, the quadzilla usually walks away from the banshee from the holeshot to the top end. The quadzilla is one baaad machine...

So now you are saying that if you bore a Banshee to 500cc and and deck it out with aftermarket pipes and everything that it would beat a stock Zilla? I would sure hope so! There is a lot more to being fast than top speed and that most often has to do more with your gearing than your motor. Who cares that a Banshee won Pikes Peak? 250R's have won virtually every pro MX race in the past 12 years. So with your logic, Yamaha can't even build a machine that's a 2-stroke and is 100cc's bigger than the 250R but the 250R is still faster. Why is that? The DS650 won the Baja 2000 so Yamaha can't even build a twin cylinder 2-stroke that will beat a 465 pound 4-stroke. Why is that? Like I have said before, no matter how fast your quad is someone somewhere has a faster one. Quadzilla's and Banshees are both fast. I don't think that you can say that, as a rule, one is faster than the other, it all depend's how they are modified.

 

452efg your a complete idiot. you say if you bore out a 350 to 500cc it'll be faster than a stock machine so suzuki sucks? hmm so i guess yamaha is god then. thats funny cuz if i bored my 400EX out to a 550 (which would be the equivelant to making your banshee a 500) i would smoke a stock yamaha raptor. i would also smoke a stock banshee. man yamaha must suck now. do i really think yamaha sucks? no. do i think your a complete fool? yes.

Juggalo i didnt mean that. The zilla and the banshee are both two strokes. What i was saying is that if yamaha made the banshee stock at 500 cc that it would beat the zilla.
