No stock suspension would work for you LBZ!!! If you can get the 85-86 motor back together and running without a huge investment, my advice is go for it and put a few bucks into that motor, you could really have a screamer.

I think I'm going to go for it. How do the Maier plastics look for the zuki's?

Juggalo is right, the hoods look like some sort of cancerous growth, it is truly hideous. The fenders however have gotten better and aren't THAT bad, they look like "melted down milk jugs" when compared to Full Bore, but they look better than worn out stockers and as much as it sucks, its your only choice.Good luck with the LT and let us know how it goes.

madweazl,

I also have an 86, It has been bored, head milled mild, port&polish, Kiehin carb, Trinity tourque pipe, and a lot of other mods, You can make the 85/86s very fast and great looking machines.

I have Maier plastic on mine and I hate it, if you can afford it, get factory Suzuki plastic. The cheapest place I could find it was www.ysapowersports.com But, I have heard of people having problems with them.

I also have Works dual rates with rezzies, they are great. The rear had a Heart transplant from Works and it is a definate improvment. The quad takes bumps and jumps like their not even there.

If you would like to see a fairly nice 86 check out the album in my sig.

Oh yeah, my frame has been welded above both front shocks, and the swing arm has been welded by the pinch bolts by the carrier. I am stripping the racer down to the frame and having it gusseted for strength. Then I'm sandblasting it and having it powdercaoted this winter.

I dont know, the plastics arent that bad danno. If you cut the fronts down along the lip on the outside they would flow right into the rear fenders and look pretty good I think. Whats up with the rear fender though, how come its not symetrical?

You gotta have room for the kick starter.

If you dont go ahead and buy the quad, let me know, I would buy it from him provided the frame isnt cracked and neither is the swingarm Its no biggie to bore and put in a new piston.

Ahh, I forget about those things, the Mojave has a wacky kick thats forward. I'll let you know, he's asking $800 but I think he'll go down some.
