I will be in Glamis Friday night and Saturday. My buddies and I are making a short trip as we figure it will be bloody hot. Will anyone from these forums be there?

 

I'm not that desperate yet! I'll be at Little Sahara for Roost Fest in a week and a half. Can't wait for Glamis season again though.

 

Wow, going to be toasty out there right now. It was really hot here in Yuma today, it had been cooling down the last couple of weeks until today.

 

We got there Friday about 6PM. Gecko Campground was completely empty. We rode until dark and got up to cook breakfast at 5. We were riding by 6:15 and headed towards Oldsmobile. There was no one there either. We went to comp and to a few other select jumps and then headed back to Olds. There were a couple of DS650s, a late model zilla, and about half dozen 400EX. It was really weird sitting on the top of Oldsmobile hill, looking down, and seeing no one. Usually there are tons and tons of people.

what is the elevation at GLAMIS? trying to figure out for moderately modded Lt500 jetting? first time there.Bike has 39mm PWK

I have a 38mm PJ. I run a 52 pilot, DEJ needle with clip in middle, and a 192 main. No airbox lid, FMF pipe and uni filter. This setup works well for me, though if I don't sell my quad, I will be trying a different needle this season.
