Does anyone know how good PRM's bumpers and skids are? I'm thinkin' of gettin the whole shebang for my 500. Thanks....

They are very tough. I know a lot of desert racers that won't use anything else. I had an AC skid plate and it lasted one day in the desert. Biggest piece of crap I every bought. PRM has been much better. Check out them Pro Tect's too. They are stainless steel, very very tough, but on the heavy side and more expensive. Just rememeber, the more hit the skid plate can take, the more it's gotta be disbursed somewhere else which usually means the swingarm or frame.

I put one of there desert grab bars on my 400 awhile back, It was a very nice looking piece but didnt survive very long, While riding at Haspin's awhile back my brother tapped me doing about 5mph and easily folded the one side, I really cant complain too much I think it was only $40 bucks or so, Im sure there skids are fine but my grab bar was one step above ornamental[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]
