All right, hear is the deal. I just went down to the local suzuki dealer and tried out the new Eiger 400 automatic. I was very impressed by the responsiveness of the machine compared to other belt driven machines. I liked the looks, the 2 & 4 wheel drive feature, independent front suspension, dual shock rear etc. But, since I am not the type of person to just jump into buying a new model, I was wondering if anyone has bought one and could post some kind of review on it. I currently own a 2002 Honda Rancher ES and this machine almost looked like a knock off of it - just my opinion. Anyway, if you have one I would like to hear your thoughts.

I bought the Eiger after a test drive and had it home last weekend. Very impressed with steering, speed, ride etc. Found the tank mounted shifter on right side to be in the wrong position. Often to get into N or R you have to give the machine some gas will reaching across with your left hand to the right side. Also very loud engine. Anyway I returned it and picked up the new vinson yesterday - nice machine. I had mixed emotions about taking it back $4660 was very reasonable for so much machine - alot more machine than a rancher. The $5700 for the Vinson was worth it, but how much did I really gain
