I have a 91' suzuki lt250r quadracer. I am in the process of going through the whole thing, painting the frame replacing all the bearings, seals, and other things in the suspension and everything. Most of them are worn or bad(broken apart). I am also rebuilding it soon too. I am waiting on the money.

I am looking for A-arm bearings and seals and such for my quad. Are there any aftermarket parts for this like pivot works has for the swing arm and rear suspension? If so where can I get them. I got prices for OEM parts, they are $467.84 for all 4 a-arms(without bolt, nut, lockwasher) or $116.96 each if you feel like figuring it out. I have been looking but I can't find any anywhere.

thanks for any help you can give,

chuck

I AM IN THE SAME PROJECT. I PICKED UP A MENT CONDITION 92 WITH LITTLE TO NO HOURS ON THE MOTOR AND FACTORY TIRES. I HAVE IT TORE ALL THE DOWN NOW. I HAVE PAINTED THE FRAME AND HAD SOME PARTS POWDER COATED SPARKLE SILVER. MY BEARINS WERE OK FOR THE MOST PART EXCEPT FOR THE DRY ONES WHICH I GOT THEM CLEANED UP. YES ALL THE BEARINGS ARE EXPENSIVE. I ALSO WANT AND NEED A SERVICE MANUAL BUT THEY ARE VERY EXPENSIVE. I AM ALSO BUILDING MY MOTOR UP TO.

I think there was an .080 piston kit on ebay, run a search on "quadracer" and you should find it. I dont think you'll run into any cooling problems with it but I'm not positive. Best of luck, Aaron.

Im doing the same with my Zilla. Ive just got the bike back on its wheels. I too came across the problem with the A-arm bearings. Mine were full of crap and started to rust so i cleaned them out, threw out the needles and repacked with brand new needles. Im not sure whether these bearings are supposed to have a cage but ive got it back together and they seem to work fine! also I installed grease zerks on the pivot points as well. every LT should have this done. Its suprisingly simple! Another option is to install Pivot bushings like nylone bushes instead of bearings. Im not sure on this option tho Let us know how you go.
