; I need some information on a old 185 quadrunner that was given to me.I was told that it would run but i'm not getting any spark through the plug wire and gas is shooting out of a hole in the side of the carb, where i'm guessing there is a damaged seal or diaphram. I have some mechanical experience but not with quads, any help or info would be greatly appreciated. My 10 year old son is dying for me to get it running, thanks Jim...

 

Right . That is a manual primer pump . Get a new diaphram assembly .

The most common failure on the ignition is the primary coil . It is behind the flywheel . Get the correct puller to remove the flywheel .
