I found a nice zilla frame, I figured I would trade my trashed non running mojave for. The Zilla needs an engine, swingarm, steering stem, and tie rods. Should I get it, and also, what should I build? TT,MXer,Duner?

The whole engine or just a topend? If I had to choose between a junked Mojave and a junked Quadzilla.........you guessed it. As for the application, I do it all.

A comlete engine, but I think I gound a bottom end, as a matter of fact, I found 2 or 3 complete bikes that are being parted out, so I may have this thing up and running in no time, but I am still gonna take my time on it and use quality parts. I think I am gonna get the frame powdercoated, but I can get a regular paint job for free because my cousin is a paitner for an autobody shop. This is my first project so what should I look out for when starting the building up process?

Like you said, just take your time and you'll be alright. I tried to hurry my Quadzilla back into existance a couple of years ago and it didn't take long for it to go down again. It pays to check everything out and replace what needs replacing. The only problems inherent to the Quadzilla are mostly motor-based: the '87 top end, the crank bearings and seals, and the water pump assembly. I believe if you pay particularly close attention to these areas, you'll be alright. The frame is pretty tough, I have never had a problem with it. I have gotten a ton of useful info pertaining to the 500 right off this forum.

I GOT IT!!! Man, I can't wait to get this bad boy up and running. When we pulled it out of the truck I was like, this is huge! I am gonna powder coat it, how much does this cost though?
