I am looking at a 1992 LT250 for my son. The bike is in real good shape and has not been modifided, all stock down to the original tires. The owner said it has very low use. I have always had utility rigs and never a Suzuki, so any good or bad comments would be greatly appreciated on this quad.Thanks.

 

That sounds like a fantastic purchase. The LT250R were great play bikes. They have great bottom end power and with a Paul Turner Mid pipe, You won't need to upgrade again in power for a long time. How much are you spending on it? If it is that much of a cream puff, consider yourself very lucky. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.

Two grand is a really good price, but it sounds like it is too low for that bike. Find out why. If it is in as good as shape as you say you're getting a hell of a deal. I have had mine for over 4 years and am only selling it to get the z400.

 

Are we talkin bout a 250 quadracer or 250 quadsport?

 

i think LT's are great machines, in fact im in the market for one in the next year or so, it sounds like a great price for that condition, but ask the guy alot of questions and make sure there is nothing wrong with it like the guys above said! If its in that good of shape, go for it dude!
