I have always been fascinated by the older 2 stroke sport atvs such as the honda and suzuki 250Rs.I have decided that i want a Quad Racer 250.I was wandering what kind of problems should i look for when buying one?What kind of top speed are they capable of?Also what is a good price range for a good one?

 

their great quads. if you gettin one try to make it an 88 or newer. check the frame for cracks thats their main weak point. their fast..my old one was faster than 400EX's easily so i'd say maybe around 72 for a top speed.

 

Like juggalo said check for a cracks frame but also check the bearings and the bearing carrier. The price depends on the condition, year, and modifications. I bought my '91 in mint condition a while ago for $2,600. Since then I modified mine and beat my friends banshee and tons of 400exs. But Lt500's and highly modified banshees will almost always beat the lt. Definetly bad *** bikes.
