PTR Bolt On Kit.
#2
I have a PTR motor on my zilla. I bought it that way though. I don't think it is a bolt. The cylinder has his signiture. I haven't ridden a stock vs mine so I have no comparison. I do know that my bike is fast.
I have yet be beaten in a drag here. Not saying I am the greatest or anything. I haven't raced anything extrememly impressive yet except a trick out banshee and 250R. This post is not mean't to brag by all means, don't take it like that. I am just very happy with my quad!

Its not the same bolt on kit im looking at it doesnt have a new cylinder but it comes with a 39mm PWK Keihin carb fat boy silencer ptr pipe pyramid reeds k&n filter and jet kit for $600.00 and it says it is designed to work best with the ptr porting if I do get it does this mean I will have to have it ported also?

I don't have this kit on my Zilla, but I have spoken to others and have heard nothing but positive response regarding this kit. If I do anything to my motor in the future it will be this kit. You don't need to port your cylinder to realize noticeable gains, and given the increased headaches with radical modifications, I would avoid increasing the compression. A mid range port would be as much as I will do on my bike. I'd rather ride it than fix it all of the time.
