For those of you who may also have experience with Suzuki bikes, is the DR650SE engine similarly sized to the one in the Z400?

Does it look like it could fit in the Z400?

Is the DR650SE engine sporty or not? From their website it seems like the motor is pretty peppy with the SCEM cylinder, and the SACS cooling system.

Or is this engine not really a performer? The DR650 does weigh 62 lbs. more than the DRZ400, but looks like it could go on a serious diet.

I want another contender!! The craptor is not much of a challenge.

suzuki has a dr800 they sell in europe.they are susposed to release that in a quad chassis sometime.i looked at the specs on the bike, the motor isnt really all that hi tech but all the same could be more of a challenge than your ds would want.if i remember correctly its rated at 50 some hp in the bike, could you imagine at big bore kit in it,its already got a 105mm piston, but it is oil/air cooled, rather see it liquid cooled.
