Suzuki 500 Quadmaster
#1
These little quads are impressive. They work very well in mud and trails. We went riding and found them to keep up with our Sportsmans very well until they were high centered (they have decent ground clearance but not near what our Sportsamns have). They went through MUCH more than the Honda 450 we were riding with. The front end works better than the Honda limited slip front end.. A great quad for the money.

I think that you are wright, and I will go one step farther and say that the SUZUKI 500 is The best for the money. We all know what engine and drivetrain that the Artic Cat uses and the Cat is also revered by their owners. BUT FOR THE MONEY....and I purchased (2) 2001 SUZUKIs ATVs a LT-F500F and A LT-A500F (for my wife) and OTD price was $5500 for the standard shift and $200 more for the automatic. Now this is in Calif. with a 7.25% sales tax and $20 licence fee. I shopped around and Honda,Yamahaw or Artic Cat cannot come even close to that price. As far as compareable ATVs , you can be your own Judge........but for the type of riding that we do, I am looking for RELIBILITY and think that SUZUKI is the BEST.
