YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE MUCH PROBLEM WITH THE 60 IN. PLOW, BUT THE SIDEWALK ISSUE BRINGS UP AN EXCELLENT POINT. IT IS DEFINETLY SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT IF YOU LIVE IN TOWN. I MYSELF BOUGHT THE 48 IN. BECAUSE OF MY TRAILER BEING 50 IN. WIDE AND THE DOOR TO THE SHED I PARK THE QUAD IN IS 54 IN. GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN IN THE SNOW.

I have a 60 inch moose mounted up to my 95 king quad. I dont have to many problems with the sidewalks , i have a gravel drive here and i have the shoes dropped down as low as they will go, so when i do the sidewalks i angle the plow all the way to one side and its not too much of a problem here.

Mine is a 48" also but I think Robh, has a good point. As long as you turn the 60" blade to the side, it should fit your 48-50" sidewalk. It's really a lot more stress on the engine with the longer blade but it can be done. Your choice. I don't know how much snow you get there.
