I have been told of a few of these swaps... anyone actually done it, and if so, are you happy with the results??

Default RM80 into LT80

hey i used to have an rm 80 and that thing HAULED A$$ and now i have a lt80 that im teaching my sister to ride and the engines looked really close and many times i have thought of buying the bike back from a friend i sold it to and puting the engine from my lt 80 on it (old engine is ruined, i was going about 70 down a road when the piston literally exploded into at least 100 peices which blew up the radiator hose and the oil pump sending burning oil and radiator fluid on my legswhere i suffered 2nd degree burns covering most of my legs) but i dont think that they would attatch to the frames correctly

Plus the LT-80 has a crap frame and suspension, with the motor attached to the swingarm.

A trick LTrmZ-85 would be very cool, but would require a real frame and suspension.

A trick LTrmZ-300 would be very cool too......For the new ATVA racing class....(200cc two stroke/300cc 4 stroke) hmmmm new thread.....
