Somewhere I have read that as soon as the new 400 Suzuki is on the market, that a new bigger sport bike is to follow in the very NEAR future. Does anyone have any info on this? Thanks..Dean

It's either a 650 liquid cooled variant of the DRZ650, an air-cooled 800 or a 250 based on the Ozark.

Any of the above are welcome... Although I really wanna see an 800 Dunerunner, even if I won't be able to afford it...

what i was told by the area rep at the seattle m/c show was that a 300 and a 500 are in the works... but he didn't know any details other than that. they could be scheduled for release in 2003.

the way i see these (as he described to me) is this:

the z400 will be strong competition for the 400ex and the cannondale, and be hot on the tail of both the DS and raptor... a 500 makes an open class machine that (if built right) will smoke them by being lighter weight and producing just as much Hp.

the 300 builds a 250-350 thumper class machine that will have warriors and 300ex's for lunch....

i think these are all to fit racing classes of the GNC and most atv race series in the US.... three displacements for three classes... small, mid & big bore.
