Has anybody done this. I am curious as to the benefits and any mods needed. I got a good deal on a 38mm carb from an 89 Quadzilla. IS it only worth it to do it if you have a highly modified motor or will it work on a mildly modified motor.
Here are my specs
1986 Suzuki LT250 Quadracer
FMF pipe
K&N air filter with air box removed.
Boyeson reeds
Wiseco piston(.020 over)
Answer roost boost.
I would appreciate any opinions and/or suggestions
Thanks

Unless your planning on porting you motor, its not gonna work. When I first got into quads I bought a Keihen PJ 38 carb for my 85 LT 250R, hoping to increase performance. I could not get it dialed in at all. I lowered my needle all the way down and ran tiny mains ans still could not get it to work. Just too much gas for the motor..
