In terms of service manuals, which one's better for the LT's ('87 in particular)?

I think clymer is very good. I took apart my whole motor split cases and all when I was 15 and put it back togheter no problem. I don't see how suzuki's could be so much better.

I say get whichever one's cheapest. I had to spend $53 on a manual from Suzuki for the LT500R, because Clymer doesn't make one for that, but I use Clymer manuals when working on my car or trucks, and they're very detailed, which makes my life easier.......

I got the Suzuki manual off of ebay pretty cheap and think it is a really good manual, but never saw the Clymer manual so can't compare them. But I do have the Clymer for my 400ex and think that it is really good. So I agree, go with the cheapest which will be the Clymer at $25.
