Still no price for Z400?!
#1
I have been told by my local dealer the first batch of Z400's will shipping in early April. Others have been told late March. I can't believe a price still hasn't announced with just a little bit over a month left. The Canadian Suzuki website has had a price for at least a month now. I wonder if they are scrambling to get it done and if it will look different than the original pictures.

I haven't seen anybody that seems to know, so I applied and got approved for a loan for a Raptor at the dealership just in case I really want one. (Luckily for me, my girlfriend wants one-she's scared of the Zilla) So as far as I know, its still between an EX and Raptor price-wise.....
Oops, I should add we want the Z400, NOT the Craptor!! I know it sounds confusing how I wrote that........

I've been following the Z400 stuff, and I thought it was pretty well accepted that the price is going to be within about $100 of the price of a Honda 400ex, which is $5699. There have several quoted Suzuki people that have either mentioned price, or said something about it being almost the same as the 400ex (which will make it kick the 400ex sales butt)...
Good luck,

Your right alaskayfm, My local dealer just put one on hold for my fiance. The price he is selling them for is $5399. We were going to get the Raptor for my fiance until we saw the price. Thats alomst a thousand dollars cheaper than i can get a Raptor for.(my dealer sells Raptors for $6100). I realy hope some one does a ride reveiw on them before her's shows up. would realy like to know how they handle. But by the looks of them and how they are set up i think they will be great bikes. The dealer has a white and a yellow coming in. Hopefully the white one is first cause thats what she is looking for. She hates yellow. Even though i prefer the yellow. ohwell its going to be her bike not mine.

At the trade expo in Indianapolis this past weekend, Suzuki told it's dealers that the LT400Z is still a ways from making the mass production line.
They were told that a few dealers will see units this "Spring", but wont be readily available till later this year, and maybe into the Fall!!!
